ABOUT THE GRAVITY BIKE PARK & COUNTRY PARK
Dare Valley Country Park is one of South Wales’ best attractions!
FREE ENTRANCE AND PARKING
This Family Gravity Bike Park is located in the Dare Valley Country Park. It includes uplift, blue graded cross country trails, pump tracks, bike hire, takeaway cafe, workshop and shop. It’s run by the Ultimate Activity Company, (who manage similar operations in the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley), in partnership with the Country Park.
If you need to hire bikes, our fleet of Marin hardtail mountain bikes are available for the whole family, to ride the gravity trails or explore the wider area.
For children, there’s 2 new adventure playgrounds in the Country Park, right next to the lower pump track and our takeaway cafe/bike hire & workshop.
If you want to explore the area, there are lots of countryside walks and mountain trails to explore in the Dare Valley Country Park – just ask the visitor centre for some directions.
Fancy staying the night? If you really want to make the most of your visit you can stay at the Country Park! There’s a caravan site with refurbished shower facilities that welcomes caravans and camper vans. Other accommodation due to re-open soon includes family rooms, wheelchair-accessible rooms and dog-friendly rooms – the visitor centre can provide more information.
If you are staying then you must check out the night sky, as Dark Sky Wales have accredited the Park with having perfect night skies for star-gazing.
